Hellgate Elementary Custodian Position
Effective 01/28/2025, currently hiring substitute position only.
Hellgate Elementary School District is seeking highly motivated and organized individuals to fill custodian positions. These position requires individuals who possesses the ability to read, understand, and implement instructions for cleaning, maintenance and safety procedures, and knowledge of basic techniques of minor repairs and building and grounds maintenance. Moreover, these individuals must possess the ability to operate cleaning equipment, to lift heavy equipment, and to properly handle cleaning supplies.
POSITION: Hellgate Elementary Custodian Position- Substitute position
SHIFT HOURS:
Substitute position hours: variable according to need
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). This position requires an individual who possesses the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Compensation based on the District Custodian/Maintenance salary matrix and past work experience. Minimum beginning salary is $18.58 per hour. Employment benefits and retirement system vesting are also included with the position.
