About me

My name is RJ Wimett and I was born and raised here in Missoula.  I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to teach 8th grade math at Hellgate Middle School.  I have a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Montana and a Construction Engineering Degree from Montana State University. This will be my 4th year teaching at Hellgate.  When I am not working, I enjoy watching football in the fall, skiing in the winter, and golfing, fishing, and hiking in the summer.  I enjoy these activities with my wonderful wife Alice, son Louie, and dog Reggie.  This year will be full of fun and educational opportunities, all of which I am very excited to share with our students.
