Welcome to my school website! I'm Mr. Nordby and I teach K-1 P.E. and 5th/6th-grade practical arts. Teaching is the best job in the world (in my opinion) and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. My teaching philosophy is to make learning fun, active, and engaging. This will be my first year being a specials/electives teacher, but here is a list of what I've taught in the past:
2nd-grade: 2 years
3rd-grade: 1 year
4th-grade: 4 years
6th-grade: 2 years
K-1 PE & 5-6 Practical Arts: 1 year
About me: I was born and raised in Missoula, Montana, and attended Hellgate Elementary as a kindergartener in the 90s and graduated from Hellgate High School and the University of Montana. Surprisingly, I am a P.E. & practical arts teacher with a Master's degree in the field of Instructional Technology. For fun I enjoy doing anything outside; playing/coaching most sports; playing Mario Kart and board games; traveling; cheering on the Yankees, Knicks, or Jets; and hanging out with my two Goldendoodles.
