• School Hours:  School is from 8:25 am to 3 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  On Thursdays we have early out so the schedule is 8:25 am to 2 pm.  If your child arrives late they will need to check in with the office and get a late slip.  If you need to pick them up early you will need to call the office and your child will be called from their classroom.

Dismissal:  If your child is to leave school in a different way than usual, you must call the office (all year).  It is against school policy for me to change your child's dismissal plan without hearing directly from a parent.  Please call before 2:15 to allow for time to get a message through.

Toys:  Please do not allow your child to bring toys, games, makeup or any other unnessesary items from home (there will be no exceptions due to Covid-19).  Our class focuses on family projects and experiences for our sharing time instead of bringing things to show from home.

Water bottles:  Please send a water bottle labeled with your child's name to school.  Generally, we send home water bottles for cleaning on Fridays.  I will let you know if the requirements change.

Extra clothes:  Please send a set of extra clothes including socks and underwear for use in case of accidents.  Sets of clothes should be put in a ziploc bag and labeled with your child's name.  They will be stored in your child's locker and sent home at the end of the year if they are not used.  If your child does have an accident, I will send home their wet clothes in their backpack that day.

Snack Stash:  We do a shared snack each day distributed by the teacher.  Please send bulk snacks for the class when requested and we will use them as needed.  We will not allow any home-made snacks this year and as always all snacks must be nut free.  We do not need any drinks for the snack stash.  Some snack ideas are:

    • Fruit (pre-packaged or cuties)
    • Go-gurts
    • Crackers (graham, goldfish, animal)
    • Squeeze applesauce
    • Granola bars
    • String cheese
    • Any other healthy snacks that your child loves

Birthdays:  We celebrate birthdays with a kindness circle and some gifts from the class.  Birthday treats are not allowed to be brought to school.
