My name is Kate Gundlach, and I am the Spanish teacher at Hellgate Middle School! I am thrilled for the opportunity to connect and learn with my students. Parents are encouraged to be a part of our classroom community. Please reach out with questions anytime.

While this is my third year teaching Spanish, I have years of experience with Hellgate Elementary. As a coach for the Little Griz Ski Team the past seven years, I connected with students of many different abilities. My undergraduate work at the University of Idaho focused on Environmental Education and I studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador for my Spanish degree.

I love to share my stories with students. Whether these adventures are about traveling, camping, fishing, or being involved with different communities, they all hold valuable life lessons. This classroom is a community of learners. Our main priority at Hellgate Elementary is the academic, emotional, and social success of all of our students.
