• Kindergarten Grading
Students are assessed on their progress in many different ways. They perform tasks that include skills we have worked on, they use paper and pencil, illustrations, hands-on learning experiences, discussions, and observations made by the teacher during learning activities.
They are assessed through computer standarized tests three times a year, as well, to monitor progress.
At the end of each quarter, students complete an assessment packet with me on the concepts covered. Then, I send it home with their report card.
Kindergarten is an introduction to all areas of learning and gives the students a sound foundation to begin reading, understand math concepts, writing, and express themselves through many creatvie mediums.
